Directions
From Hobart, find your way onto the Tasman Highway (the route goes very near the airport) heading towards the east coat. Turn right at the T junction in Sorell onto the Arthur Highway which will take you to Tasman peninsula. Once you get to Dunalley, head towards Port Arthur. On the way to Port Arthur turn right about 3 km after Taranna on the Koonya/Saltwater River Rd (route B37) which will take you all the way through Nubeena towards Port Arthur. The White Beach turnoff is to the right 2km after Nubeena.
Alternatively if you wish to go to Port Arthur first, go past the historic site, then take a right turn signposted to Nubeena (route B37). Take the White Beach turnoff to the left 2 km before Nubeena.
After taking the White Beach turnoff continue past the beach until you reach a wooden bridge over a creek. Cross this and follow the sealed road for 1.7km from the bridge and WedgeSide is number 546 White Beach Road on the right.
